ஆத்திச் சூடி – ககர வருக்கம்

The Tamil Alphabet’s third set of letters are as follows.
Each line of this poem starts with one of these letters in this order.

க  கா  கி  கீ  கு  கூ  கெ  கே  கை  கொ  கோ  கௌ

கடவுள் வாழ்த்து

ஆத்தி சூடி அமர்ந்த தேவனை
ஏத்தி ஏத்தித் தொழுவோம் யாமே.

பொருள்:
திருவாத்தி மலர் மாலையை அணிந்த தேவனை நாம் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் தொழுவோம்.

Meaning:
Let’s worship the Lord who wears the garland of primrose flowers, again and again.

32. கடிவது மற.

(மற்றவருடன் கடிந்து பேசி துன்புறுத்துவதை மறந்து விடு.)

(Forget saying hurtful, angry words to others.)

33. காப்பது விரதம்.

(விரதங்களை காப்பாற்று, விடாமல் கைப்பற்று.)

(Keep up your vows.)

34. கிழமை பட வாழ்.

(பிறருக்கு நன்மை செய்து வாழ்.)

(Live while being beneficial to others.)

35. கீழ்மை யகற்று.

(கீழ்மையை, இழிவான செயல்களை நீக்கு.)

(Get rid of wickedness, baseness.)

36. குணமது கைவிடேல்.

(நல்ல குணங்களை கைவிடாதே.)

(Don’t give up good character, good nature.)

37. கூடிப் பிரியேல்.

(நல்லவரை, நல்ல நண்பரை விட்டுப் பிரியாதே.)

(Don’t give up good friends.)

38. கெடுப்ப தொழி.

(பிறருக்கு கேடு விளைவிக்காதே.)

(Don’t hurt or ruin others.)

39. கேள்வி முயல்.

(கற்றவர் சொல்லும் நற்பொருளை கவனித்து கேட்பதற்கு முயற்சி செய்.)

(Try to listen to the wisdom of learned people.)

40. கைவினை கரவேல்.

(உனக்குத் தெரிந்த கைத்தொழிலை மற்றவர்களிடமிருந்து ஒளிக்காதே.)

(Don’t hide the knowledge of your skills from others.)

41. கொள்ளை விரும்பேல்.

(பிறர் பொருளை கொள்ளையடிக்க விரும்பாதே.)

(Don’t wish to rob or steal from others.)

42. கோதாட் டொழி.

(குற்றமான, சட்ட விரோதமான விளையாட்டில் ஈடுபடுவதை ஒழித்து விடு.)

(Totally give up playing illegal games and sports.)

43. கௌவை அகற்று.

(வாழ்வில் ஏற்படும் இன்னல்களை நீக்கு.)

(Eliminate the troubles in life.)
